An overcoat inspired by traditional pastoral garments, reimagined for modern, eased dressing. Cut in Italian cotton twill with a structured hand, the coat holds its line while allowing natural movement. A detachable shoulder cape, elasticated waist, and deep pockets reinforce its outdoor utility, finished with antique brass snap buttons.
Pocket Guide
Pocket construction shapes both the line of a garment and the way it is used. Different approaches influence visual clarity, proportion, and performance in daily wear.
A welt pocket is cut flush into the garment body, forming a smooth, uninterrupted plane that reinforces a distinctly tailored profile.
A patch pocket is applied externally and introduces dimensional structure with a more relaxed balance. At Moonland, the patch pocket is executed with fabric pattern matched to the body, allowing it to remain visually discreet. Continuity across the cloth is preserved, with subtle linear definition registering at the edge.

Moonland garments are crafted upon order in our own dedicated tailor house rather than produced at scale. The time required for creation is therefore an integral part of the delivery timeline.
